Use this function to find errors on your pages and of those of others. All errors except 404 are inherent to the site that you are searching for. 404s indicate broken links that can be internal to the site in question or external. The referrer URL is the first one encountered by the search engine; there might be more pages on the web linking to a non-existent page. To find all links to a certain page, go to Altavista and search for "url:your_site/page_in_question".

Note: you can search for errors on an entire domain, a directory or a specific page. All errors are returned, not only 404s. If you want to see all errors that the indexer has encountered, search for just "http://".
